I am planning on going to Whistler for my honeymoon next year but I am very unfamiliar with the area. I want to know if anyone can recommend a nice (but not overpriced) resort close to whistler-blackcomb. Possibly include web address and what was nice about it.
THANKS!

This was my second time up to Garibaldi lake, and it was by far my most enjoyable time up. Last time around, we experienced heavy rain, blinding winds, and horizontal snow (which in its own way made this trip memorable, but in a different way). Climbing Panarama Ridge was a tough exercise, but the view from up there was something I will never forget. I could see all around me, to the ocean to our camp to the tusk to Whistler Blackcomb. The was down went by really fast, so it felt like nothing hopping onto that bus for the trip home.
