would you reccomend going there during the summer months?
what are the conditions like?
no . in the summer it turns into a high end golf resort . the time to go is asap . since the olympics are there in2010 . traffic holdups for road conditions and upgrading , along with price increase in 2009 , and after the olympics price sky high .. ther are great ski areas in british colombia . the best kept secret is manning park n. 100 miles east of vancouver . cheap passes , great snow , cheap accomadations . easier access than whistler which is extemly overpriced . the area is basicaly owned by the european buisness community , yes read detox in ther prices are sky high . road conditions and construction delays . having the olympics in b c is so far over budget at this point . they will need about 1 billion plus , to start paying bills . definate mistake but give it a whirl if you like . great area .

Skiing at Whistler during is possible on a couple of the glaciers that are accesed by T-Bars.
But the only thing going on up there is a terrain park because the snow isn’t good enough quality to actually enjoy proper skiing.

Ideally they would restructure to to run on a Unix/Linux core, but, nope, it's a slightly streamlined version of Vista. They have also reported that they are not going to fix the kernel and file/memory management problems inherent in it. (34000+ bugs in the Vista SP1 kernel to date)
