I have a huge interest in visiting and if I like it that much I might just move there to live who knows. I am born in Bosnia Sarajevo but currently living in Sydney Australia. Kind Regards.

Really? Show me …
Really? Show me the statistics. Anyways… my question still stands: what security cost would you consider inappropriate for the olympic games?

November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
You claim that …
You claim that everyone wants a handout and it’s ridiculous – The olympics is by far the biggest handout out there – taxpayer dollars are being blown faster and harder than a pornstars junk

You obviously have …
You obviously have no comprehension of economics. Surprising for such a nerd. Crawl back into your anti Olympic hole douche bag.
November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
What part of …
What part of resources would be better spent on community-based programs for youth” don’t you understand. Imagine taking the 1.1×10^9 security budget and subsidizing youth sports or offering healthy hot-lunch programs in schools. My question to you is: what security cost would you consider inappropriate for the olympic games?
November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
you clearly hate …
you clearly hate sport and athletes you are the minority though.. now run along!!
and let the magority in this country enjoy the games
November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
ad hominem …
ad hominem arguments are a clear sign of defeat. I will not say you are ignorant or a nerd, but I will say the olympic equation needs to be questioned. When we have to spend 1.1×10^9 dollars on security, the cost/benefit analysis requires careful scrutiny. My question to you is: what security cost would you consider inappropriate for the olympic games? My points have been made – make yours…
November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
???? Do you have …
???? Do you have any points??? You should read what you just wrote because clearly u are a nerd. A confused nerd, that makes little or no sense. Please don’t respond

I’m sorry you were …
I’m sorry you were glued to the television; clearly, advertisers had their way with you, and at such a young age, when you were inspired by rowing and skiing, but were subliminally coerced by manipulative marketers. Most of the sports you mention feature athletes that compete in the owelympics which only magnifies the absurdity of your argument and the prevalence of steroid use. No head shaking here, just a wag of the finger.
November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
WOW you’re ignorant …
WOW you’re ignorant. Both my parents are Olympians. I grew up glued to the television for every Olympics. It got me into rowing and downhill skiing. Just because u don’t like them doesn’t mean all of us can’t enjoy the Olympics. As for steroids, my point was that there are less cheaters in the Olympics than there are in baseball, hockey, football or basketball, and if believe otherwise u need to give your head a shake.
November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
The Oympics (sic) …
The Oympics (sic) is what got you into sports? Don’t insult all the parent volunteers, teachers, and community centers that offer sports programs for youth. Your interest in sports may be the result of Olympic advertising, but the resources would be better spent on community-based programs for youth. If you are arguing that steroid (sic) use is declining due to Olympic policies – you’re wrong.
November 13th, 2009 at 2:00 am
Steriod use? no one …
Steriod use? no one is stricter than the Oympics when it comes to anti-doping. The Olympics is what got me into sport as a child, so don’t pretend it has no effect.

It’s now against …
It’s now against the law in BC to post an anti-Olympic sign in your own home. The police now have the power to enter your home, remove the sign and fine you up to $10,000. Is this freedom? No it’s not. In BC we have a Premier who drove drunk in Hawaii and was arrested. There’s a rule with BC government jobs that states you can be fired from your job if you bring the government into disrepute or embarrass it. Campbell didn’t abide by the rules because he’s a hypocrite.
