  1. kovier says:

    The Race Officials Committee presented five options for the Events Committee
    to consider for fleet and medal racing at the 2012 Olympics:

    1) Moving the gate to windward, closer to the windward mark;
    2) Up to 4 laps (rather than dramatic reduction in target times);
    3) Windward finishes;
    4) During Medal Races, a starboard rounding of the final windward mark with a reaching finish; and
    5) During Medal Races, a single leeward mark.

    Try getting a personal trainer. Most of them know what they are talking about, just make sure they are certified by a legitimate company such as A.C.E. Even if you can only afford a few sessions with them, they will at least give you a direction and an idea about nutrition and what to do in the gym.
