As cable prices are escalating and they are removing more and more channels (this month Oxygen, MSNBC, and Tru Crime…all my favorites) to digital channels (3 digit numbered channels which are now not available unless you subscribe to more expensive digital service), yet leaving channel after channel of sports….more and more people are asking for the "ala carte" menu you mentioned. I read something a while back that said that the cable companies will take away everything but local channels and we will all be forced to subscribe to digital service if we want to watch anything else (with a monthly service charge, also, for a new box…even tho some of us have "digital ready" sets with HD and plasma screens, etc. I [...]
