im from australia and i would strongly suggest you get both — from what i hear the US health system is so expensive

I'm not happy about it, I don't support the bill, and I think the democratic party will suffer for it in the coming elections. They have alienated not only the right, but also a great many of their own voters.
No it certainly will not "bankrupt the industry." They are going to charge whatever they say is necessary for them to make a profit, and there is nothing to stop them from doing so.
With 30 million additional subscribers, by force of law, they are going to make more money then they ever have before. The rest of us will pay for it.
