How to get cheap flights to Vancouver?
What is the commute time between Bellingham, WA and Vancouver International Airport?
I’m considering a job offer that would allow me to live in Washington, though most of my business would be conducted in Western Canada, which means I would travel frequently to Vancouver and Vancouver’s airport. Can anybody tell me if this is a difficult commute? Does the Nexus pass simplify things?
Yes,the pass will help some bus during heavy travel periods such as the upcoming holiday season the boarder crossing will likely remain congested. Another option would be to use one of the many bus service operating between Bellingham & Vancouver, several of which stop at the Vancouver Airport. Some of the better know companies providing this service are; Quick Shuttle & CanTrail both of which also offer monthly commuter passes at a discount rate. Good Luck!
Can anyone reccomend a travel/health insurance for a working/holiday ski season in Canada?
I am also backpacking for 7 weeks and am not planning to come back to the UK.
I used http://www.worldwideinsure.com/ in my backpacking days and have remained a customer since. Their customer service are pretty good if you need to make a claim and are understanding. They are also helpful when you need to identify your requirements and in helping you decide which policy to go for – they do not have an aggresive sales pitch.

Which places in this cities are most interesting?
Is it possible to travel from Toronto to Ottawa for 1 day by bus or train?
Can anybody recommend a budget accomodation in this cities?
Ottawa is a bit too far for a day trip.
When you are in Vancouver you should go over to Vancouver Island/Victoria and up to Whistler.
I love the old growth forests and the rain forests on Vancouver Island.
Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park, on the southwest coast of Vancouver Island, is home to some of the world’s largest spruce trees.
The Carmanah Giant, at 95 metres, is thought to be the tallest Sitka spruce in the world, although it is less than 400 years old! There are much older, gnarled cedars estimated to be well over 1,000 years old clinging to the side hills.
Pacific Rim National Park is outstanding but it is a far drive from Vancouver (about 6 hours of the most beautiful scenery in the world).
Whale watching:
The best viewing of the Orcas (Killer whales) is from May to October.
As for budget accommodations, I always camp (if you camp make sure you make reservations, people come from all over the world to see beautiful BC).
